TEMPLE (February 10, 2014) Fire destroyed a storage building and its contents Sunday night in North Temple but no one was hurt.
Temple Fire and Rescue units were sent just after 6:30 p.m. to an address in the 2900 block of West Avenue K where the first units on the scene reported heavy smoke coming from a detached storage shed.
The fire was quickly extinguished but not before the building and all its contents were destroyed, TFR spokesman Thomas Pechal said.
The building was a wooden structure with a metal roof, about 800 square feet in size, Pechal said.
Damage to the building and its contents was estimated at about $10,000 and the cause of the blaze has been ruled undetermined.
