Burglary Suspects Arrested Hiding Under Bed

Waco police arrested a teenager and another man they found hiding under a bed after a reported home burglary.

WACO (March 27, 2014) A teenager and another man were arrested Thursday while hiding under a bed after Waco police identified them as suspects in a residential burglary.

Police were sent at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday to a house in the 2700 block of Webster Avenue after a caller reported a burglary.

A neighbor told officers he had seen a man enter his neighbor’s home through a back door, Waco police Officer Steve Anderson said.

Officers searched the home and found two men hiding under a bed inside.

McLennan County Jail records showed Dirraus Evans, 17, and Terrance Debrandon Richardson, 25, both in custody charged with burglary of a habitation.

Evans was ordered held on a $5,000 bond and Richardson ordered held on a $10,000 bond.
