Police Search For Men Who Robbed Local Pizza Delivery Driver

TEMPLE (April 1, 2014) Temple police on Monday were searching for two men they say held up a pizza delivery driver on Sunday night.

Officers were sent at about 10:40 p.m. to an address in the 700 block of Arrangement Way, just east of the Scott and White Hospital campus, after a pizza delivery driver reported he had been robbed while making a delivery.

The victim reported two men approached him, one who had a handgun, and demanded his belongings.

After the victim turned over the pizza and his money, the two men fled on foot, Temple police Cpl. Christopher Wilcox said.

The assailants were described as black men, one about 6-feet tall and the other about 5-feet, 9-inches tall, both wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts and ski masks, Wilcox said in a news release.

Wilcox said detectives are continuing to investigate the robbery.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Temple police.
