TEMPLE (April 1, 2014) A Temple man was held Tuesday in the Milam County Jail after Cameron police arrested him on a Bell County warrant charging indecency with a child by contact.
Brian Alexander Denmon, 31, was ordered held on a $150,000 bond awaiting transfer to the Bell County Jail, Milam County Jail records showed.
Denmon had been listed among Temple’s eight most wanted fugitives, Temple police Cpl. Christopher Wilcox said.
Cameron police Chief Randy Dixon said Denmon was arrested in Cameron after officers learned he was named in a Bell County warrant.
Wilcox said a warrant for Denmon was issue last July after a female victim under the age of 17 reported she had been touched inappropriately by a man.
Wilcox said the victim and the suspect are acquainted.
