WACO (April 7, 2014) Traffic was slowed Monday on southbound Interstate 35 near Baylor as crewmen from the Texas Department of Transportation worked to repair a hole that appeared in the bridge deck over University Parks Drive.

TxDOT spokesmen Ken Roberts told News 10 it could take up to six hours to repair the hole, which was discovered just after 9 a.m.

Three lane southbound traffic at Exit 335-A was restricted to just two lanes and was moving slowly around the work area.

Roberts did not say what might have caused the hole.
