TEMPLE (April 22, 2014) A Tuesday morning three-vehicle crash on State Highway 317 in Temple sent two to a local hospital and had traffic snarled at rush hour.

First responders were sent at about 7:30 a.m. to State Highway 317 and Farm-to-Market Road 2483 where three vehicles had collided.

Ambulances took two of the occupants to Scott and White Hospital suffering non life-threatening injuries and two others involved escaped unhurt, Temple Fire and Rescue spokesman Thomas Pechal said.

An empty school bus was in line to turn at the intersection where the accident happened but it was not involved in the collision, Pechal said.

Traffic at the scene was moving extremely slowly while crews cleared the roadway of debris.

The roadway was expected to be cleared by 9 a.m.
