(July 18, 2008)—One person died and a second survived after a canoe capsized Friday on the Trinity River.
Dallas Police Sgt. Kevin Harris said divers worked to recover the victim's body Friday afternoon.
One man made it to shore after the canoe, which capsized, was located near a spillway.
The accident happened on a stretch of river in southeast Dallas.
