Rusty Garrett here with the weekend outlook: Saturday, rain stays with us, but should taper off by Sunday, the drier of the two days.
WACO (April 29, 2014) Waco police arrested three men outside an East Waco home after they ran from a house where a neighbor had reported a break in.
Police were sent just after 1 p.m. to a house in the 600 block of Harlem and when patrol officers arrived they saw three men running from the back of the house, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.
A neighbor called police to report seeing three men go inside the house where the family that lived had just moved out about an hour earlier.
As officers began investigating three men ran from the back of the house and through the neighborhood, Swanton said.
Within minutes all three were in custody and a short time later were taken to the McLennan County Jail.
Swanton said one of the three men may have had a warrant from a different jurisdiction but that hadn’t been confirmed.
