(April 5, 2006)--Voters in 24 of 32 Wisconsin communities that held symbolic referendums Tuesday told the U.S. government to withdraw its troops from Iraq.
One elderly woman in Madison says she doesn't mind that the measures are nonbinding.
But she says she's thought from the beginning that the war was "ill-advised."
An official from a group that opposes the measures says the passing of such referendums could damage the morale of soldiers.
