Minor Earthquake Rocks Oklahoma
A minor earthquake Wednesday shook parts of Oklahoma.

(April 5, 2006)--A small earthquake was felt Wednesday afternoon in south-central Oklahoma.
There were no immediate reports of damage.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake, with a preliminary magnitude of 3.0, happened at about 1:45 p.m. CDT.
It was centered eight miles southwest of Lone Grove in Carter County.
A number of people placed telephone calls to emergency officials after the quake.
The Oklahoma Geological Survey in Norman also received calls from people who felt the quake.
A quake of magnitude 2.5 to 3.0 is the smallest generally felt by people.
