A | A | A

(July 24, 2008)—A man wanted in connection with the discovery of an explosive device Sunday night at a residence in the 6300 block of North 19th Street in Waco that led to a neighborhood evacuation and shut down several streets was in custody Thursday afternoon in Bartlesville, Okla.

Bartlesville Police Chief Tom Holland said local, state and federal authorities arrested Gordon Whitehead, 41, of Waco, Thursday morning at a residence on a federal warrant charging possession of a pipe bomb.

Bartlesville is about 50 miles north of Tulsa, Okla.

Whitehead was in the Tulsa County Jail late Thursday afternoon.

Police discovered the device Sunday night after responding to a report of a suspicious item in the area.

Fort Hood’s Bomb Squad was called in to secure the device before residents of the area were allowed to return to their homes.

Ha, hey Napoleon did get the girl at the end of the movie and Pedro did become President...Vote for Pedro, because he offers you his protection!!1 I wonder if Pedro could be elected as Mayor of Waco and clean up the streets with his Cousins, like they did the bully in the movie... Ya, Pedro has my vote.

Killeen has just as many problems as Waco does. Actually more, since most of their community are thugs.

I have not seen the guy since I was a teenager I know I was not a big fan of him then when he dated my Aunt. I just remember how funny it was when the Napoleon movie came out because instantly I thought "OMG they made a movie after him"...lol I am sure what all he has told my aunt about what was going on between him and his sister was worded in his favor. I remember when my aunt and this guy split up he tried to file a suit against my aunt because she took his remote to his tv when she moved out...lol what a fruit loop. I am just glad he did not have the chance to hurt anyone.

You should have seen this guy before he got contacts. He looked just like Napoleon Dynomite. From what I have heard from sources close to the matter is he was upset because while he was staying in Oklahoma his sister moved into his house down here in Waco and somehow managed to put it in her name and when he came back home to Waco he found out what she had done and she would not let him have it back and he lost it a little to say the least.

Oh Madmax, like you don't have anything like that in Killeen. They are there. They just have not been discovered yet. And yes, we could use some good news, but that's not what spreads like wildfire.

Posted by: Madmax Location: Killeen on Jul 24, 2008 at 06:49 PM
Doesn't he look like a mix of Tom Greene and the Unabomber????
