(April 7, 2006)--Dozens of people were killed or wounded in an explosion that rocked a Shiite mosque in Iraq after Friday prayers.
Police report at least 40 dead and many hurt in the attack on the mosque in northern Baghdad.
Police first thought the mosque had been hit by mortar rounds but now say shrapnel found at the scene suggests the blast could have been caused by someone wearing an explosive vest.
