Lawmakers To Vote On Veterans Bill
The final vote for a veterans affairs bill introduce by congressman Chet Edwards is expected to come Friday.

(AUGUST 1, 2008)--The final vote for a veterans affairs bill introduce by congressman Chet Edwards is expected to come Friday. The vote was delayed Thursday evening.

The bill would take care of both veterans and active duty troops, alotting funds for higher insurance enrollment for veterans ....and improvements to veteran's hospitals.

The bill would also aim to improve the quality of life for troops and their families, as well help fund the growth of the armed forces by almost 100 thousand troops.
