Highway 6 Motorcycle Crash Leaves Woman Dead, Man Injured

RIESEL (June 30, 2014) A woman died and a man was injured early Sunday morning in a motorcycle crash along State Highway 6 in Riesel.

A McLennan County Justice of the Peace pronounced Stephanie Bell, whose age and address were not disclosed, dead at the scene just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Highway 6 near Adams Street.

Bell, according to Riesel Police Chief Danny Krumnow, was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by Cole Wolf.

Wolf was taken by ambulance to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, in Temple, for treatment of undisclosed injuries, Krumnow said.

Krumnow said the motorcycle was northbound on Highway 6 when it hit a guardrail and both riders were thrown from the bike.

Police were continuing to investigate the crash.
