Arrest Made In Local Graffiti Cases Save Email Print

A | A | A

(August 12, 2008)—Copperas Cove police have arrested Roberto T. Graciani, 19, of Copperas Cove on warrants issued in connection with a series of incidents in which graffiti was spray painted on a half-dozen vehicles.

Graciani, who was arrested on Monday, was named in three complaints charging graffiti under $500 and three complaints charging graffiti over $500, but under $1,500.

The complaints stem from incidents on July 22, when graffiti was spray painted on six vehicles.

Bonds total $27,000.

Police, meanwhile, continue to investigate a number of other graffiti cases that have occurred during the past month.

Sam Bam: Did you know him personally to know that he moved...lol you are starving for attention huh?

Posted by: Just sayin is all Location: Ft Hood on Aug 14, 2008 at 08:28 AM
Having worked for the Texas Department of Corrections, I take offence to SAM saying drugs are EASIER to get in jail. Yeah, you can probably find them sometimes but we took great pains to find all contraband and took that very seriously. And if jail is NOT the answer what is? Hugs and Kisses? Sorry, that doesnt work either.

Your stupid; He moved.

Here we go again..Sam, why is it the responsibility of tax payers to take care of YOUR kid? There is tons of help out there you just have to find it and maybe spend some of your OWN money to get him help! Stop relying on the government to raise your kid! Its YOUR job! Remember: rehab isnt just for spoiled out of control celebrities!!!

Posted by: Jeff Location: Lampasas on Aug 13, 2008 at 02:31 PM
He should have put his talent to work on canvas instead of on someones car.

Posted by: Karen Location: Killeen on Aug 13, 2008 at 01:25 PM
SAM! Where were you and your wife when your son was doing these things?? Sounds like you need some parenting classes and maybe even some grammar classes as well. You know what they say, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!" Get your family the MUCH NEEDED HELP!!

Posted by: Me Location: Central Texas on Aug 13, 2008 at 12:28 PM
"Your stupid", before making statements about others, you may wish to check the context of your insinuation/allegation. Spellcheck doesn't fix context and/or grammar.

Sorry I ran out of room any way we tried to get them to do any thang put him in something that would help him but they wouldnt help us so any way he went to jail to do the 6 months I took him to court he was so high in the court room he didnt even care that he was going to jail amd 6 months later at 12 midnihgt when they released him he was just as high as he was the day he went to court So people jail is not the answere for anyone they get what they want in there because the family and the gaurds my son told me it was easier for him to get the drugs in there than it was on the streets so jail doesnt why do you thank we have so many repeat offenders and he is still on drugs today and he has been back in forth to jail sents they lock him up the first time.....

Posted by: Sam Location: Marlin on Aug 13, 2008 at 02:25 AM
Im sick and tired of hearing [what] you people say on here I have been reading this junk for the last six months and every time its the same thang send them to jail put them in the pin Let me tell all of you stupid people this my son was arrested on drugs he got probation for 1 yr and durning that time he got on crack and he got so bad that he wasnt sleeping eating or even taken a bath he was cutting his stomack and arms and he was seeing stuff that wasnt there I called the polcie on him and you know what they told me there was nothing they could do for him. They took him to jail only because when they tryed to talk to him he got into a fight with him and they let him loose he was 16 at the time Me and my wife wanted him to go to jail so he could get off the drugs any way they let him go but he was on the crack so bad he forgot what day it was and didnt show up for his probation meeting and so they got him for violation of his probation and he got 6 months jail ok before this ...

To unknown in cove: This is a bulletin board not a cell phone! Your use of texting and poor grammar hints that maybe you spent some time at g.l. wiley middle school. Intellectually you seem to be in the same group as this graffiti scumbag! To anonymous: there is nothing to understand. He choose to commit a crime and should pay the price! Who gives a rats butt how he was treated at home! I know several people that have lived through hell a few times in their lives and they have never committed crimes! Unfortunately he'll probably only get a slap on the wrist. No wait that might be too harsh and painful..he'll probably just get a scolding! lol! At least we know who is is and what he looks like!

Posted by: anonymous Location: Austin on Aug 12, 2008 at 07:00 PM
I would have to hear how this boy was treated at home and what he put up with to understand why he felt compelled to do such a thing. He needs to pay for his crime but bet he has a lot going on otherwise.

Posted by: Shannon Location: Copperas Cove on Aug 12, 2008 at 06:31 PM
What a little PUNK. His bail should of been a lot higher than it was. Mommy and Daddy will more than likely get him out of this.

Posted by: Virginia Location: Killeen on Aug 12, 2008 at 06:19 PM
Why do we spend such outrageous amounts of money on jails/prisons. Sheriff Joe of Phoenix has the right idea, tents, pink jumpsuits. No tv or other fancies like TX and other states supply, not to mention better healthcare than many of us can afford. From all the reports I've read, it saves Arizona a fortune annually. Convicts shouldn't have better rights than our fighting military or our low/no income families.

Bet this was not his first event...probably had problems in school and lacked good and effective parents...so now its a carry over to the rest of society. He is still a kid in his mind. Prison is not going to help him...need to throw the parents in there for failing him.

Posted by: covite Location: tex on Aug 12, 2008 at 03:27 PM
undefined: he'll just use the stumps then! Wont be as purdy but a thug is a thug! anonymous W: i agree Mr fuji: oh if only that could be done here but remember criminals have more rights than victims!! dude: why dont you just use the word "lynch"! Its okay really it is! If there was a tipster involved in this arrest. i applaud you! You are helping make things better and are taking pride in your community and yourself! We need more out there willing to do the right thing! i wonder if this scumbag owns a car. If so they should let the victims vandalize his car because you know they will never see any kind of restitution from him as you cant transfer loan star benefits! lol

Posted by: Jeremy Location: Gatesville on Aug 12, 2008 at 03:24 PM
Make him do community service until his pants stay around his waist instead of around his knees, the make him paint some elderly peoples houses.

Posted by: George Location: temple on Aug 12, 2008 at 03:20 PM
I say give him a brand new can of spray paint and let him repaint the lines on I 35, noon to five without posting warning signs. If he survives this should teach him.

Posted by: anonymous W Location: Tx on Aug 12, 2008 at 02:45 PM

Posted by: saint juju Location: waco on Aug 12, 2008 at 02:15 PM
he looks bored maybe we can put his artistic nature to some good use there are allot of houses and buildings that need to be repainted lets have him do that!!

Posted by: Me Location: Central Texas on Aug 12, 2008 at 01:05 PM
P.S. He was likely identified because the paint stains around his nose/mouth matched the spray paint used in the vandalism. LOL

Posted by: Me Location: Central Texas on Aug 12, 2008 at 12:49 PM
I blame the lenient/liberal "justice" system for these behaviors. Prisons have so many ammenities, these days, that incarceration is little more than a vacation from responsibility. And people wonder why the crime problem is so bad???!!!

Posted by: Me2 Location: Cen Tex on Aug 12, 2008 at 12:45 PM
The way he looks in his picture with his head sideways is telling me that he doesn't really care what he did. He is saying "So what." I say take spray cans and spray graffiti on him. Through the book at him.

Posted by: UKNOW Location: HERE on Aug 12, 2008 at 11:47 AM
HAVE THAT PUNK DO COMM. SERVICE TILL HIS PAINT STAINED HANDS HURT ..... THEN JAIL HIM - HE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING ELSE GOING ON. SORRY - BUT STUPID IS STUPID!

Posted by: Don Location: Texas on Aug 12, 2008 at 11:26 AM
If found guilty, throw the book at him. No Probation.

Posted by: T Location: WACO on Aug 12, 2008 at 11:17 AM
GOOD HE NEEDS TO BE LOCKED UP THATS WHERE HE BELONGS THINKING HE CAN JUST GO AND DESTROY PEOPLES PROPERTY THAT THEY WORK SO HARD TO OWN HE NEEDS TO STAY IN JAIL AND SEE HOW HE LIKES IT IN THERE SERVES HIM RIGHT
