(April 26, 2006)—White House adviser Karl Rove made his fifth appearance Wednesday before a grand jury investigating the leak of the name of CIA agent Valerie Plame.

Sources say Rove testified about new revelations in the case.

The new evidence includes information that Rove's lawyers talked with a Time magazine reporter during a pivotal time in the case.

Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald is investigating questions including why Rove didn't immediately tell prosecutors he'd spoken with a Time reporter about the outed CIA officer back in 2003.

A previous grand jury indicted I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby in October. Libby was then Vice President Dick Cheney’s chief of staff.

He has pleaded not guilty.
