(August 26, 2008)--A 25-year-old mother whom federal prosecutors accuse of trying to prostitute her young daughter was ordered held without bond Tuesday in San Antonio.

A judge ordered Jennifer Richards, who moved to San Antonio from Phoenix nine months ago, to remain in custody after finding she was a flight risk and likely to be convicted of using interstate facilities to transmit information about a minor, a charge that carries up to five years in prison.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Tracy Braun said other charges could still be added.

FBI Agent Rex Miller testified at the hearing Tuesday that Richards offered to allow her 5-year-old daughter to be molested in exchange for a car, an apartment and money for day care for her 10-month-old daughter.

Miller says Richards also planned to use the baby for child pornography when she got older.

She allegedly took the girls to meet an informant she thought was a child molester and accepted $300 on the promise that they would meet again.

Richards was taken into custody a short time later.

Her attorney says the chats were nothing but fantasy, prompted by her boyfriend who is also charged in the case.

Anyone having that sort of fantasy, even if the person does not act upon it, shouldn't be breathing.

Regardless if the chats were fantasy she is a sick woman. How in the world could you do that to your child? Let alone a 5 year old and an infant. This lady has everything coming to her. I hope they throw the book plus more at her.

I think that when you take your kid to meet a supposed child molestor and accept money from him - that goes beyond fantasy! She's probably on drugs. Or uneducated. Or uneducated AND on drugs. Haha.

This woman should not be breathing.

What the hell is wrong with this woman??? The thought of someone doing that to their own babies is just sick! A mother is supposed to protect her babies not intentionally put them harms way.
