(August 27, 2008)—A fire that broke out early Wednesday afternoon in the bedroom of a doublewide mobile home in Bellmead left the residents at least temporarily homeless.

Bellmead firefighters responded to the fire in the mobile home at 1509 Bowie around 1 p.m. Wednesday.

They were able to contain the flames to the master bedroom, but smoke and water damaged the rest of the mobile home.

The cause is under investigation.

No one was injured.
