Investigators Say Missing 3-Year-Old Is Probably Dead
Tests on the trunk of the car of the mother of a missing 3-year-old girl and other evidence is leading investigators to say there’s a strong probability the toddler is dead.

(September 2, 2008)—Authorities in Florida who are investigating the disappearance of 3-year-old Caylee Anthony say lab tests confirm there had been a decomposing body in the trunk of her mother's car.

The Orange County, Fla. sheriff's office says investigators now think there's a strong probability that Caylee is dead.

The sheriff's department says other evidence not made public also leans in that direction.

Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony, remains jailed on unrelated charges and has been considered a "person of interest" in the case.

She has been offered limited immunity in exchange for her cooperation, but the offer expires Tuesday.

Caylee was reported missing in mid-July, about a month after she was last seen.

Casey Anthony told investigators she dropped the girl off with a baby sitter and went to work.

Sheriff's detectives say that's a lie.

If this was my little girl missing I would not be shopping at Target or keeping everything I know bottled up inside unless I was hidding something! I would do everthing I could to find her, cooperate with the police, I would tell the police any and everything I could to find my child and since the Mother is not cooperating and has lied from day one it does not take a rocket scientist to figure this one out!

To "Me" who posted on Sep 3, 2008 @ 2:56 pm....how do you think that abortion is any more justified? Sure the little girl was murdered by her mother...but what exactly is it that you think abortion is? Why can't these people who don't want children either be responsible enough to 1. Keep it zipped or 2. Use some kind of contraceptive or 3. Give the child to a family who would love them?
