(September 7, 2008)—Two teenagers in Pasadena near Houston are accused of stabbing a 75-year-old man to death in a robbery and police say the mother of one of the girls provided the knives and waited in a car during the attack.

Dannette Gillespie, 38, her 15-year-old daughter and Vanessa Anne Ocampo, 19, are each charged with capital murder in the death of bar owner Eugene Palma

According to court records, Gillespie's daughter and Ocampo stabbed and robbed Palma outside of his suburban Houston home early Wednesday in a robbery that netted the two teenagers $15.

Ocampo reportedly told police that the women had been looking for someone to rob.

Good grief, what kind of mother would teach her children or allow them to do something so horrible?

These young animals are old enough to know right from wrong, now they have to pay the price. Alot of people in the country grew up in bad situations but they all are not animals like this. It's just another reason to blame it on something else instead of the real persons who did the crime.

What a shame. Kids don't have a chance when this is the example they get from their parents!

Bill... It is what it is,you must be a lawyer..here is a good idea, why don't you let the alledged live with you until they are proven guilty, and you can hope every night that they don't try to get 15 dollars out of you....They all need the juice, they killed a man for 15 dollars and the mother knew about it. It will sent a message to all of the young thugs in this country.

Hmm... I thought people in this country were innocent until proven guilty... should this had said they ALLEDGEDLY stabbed and killed the poor man???

Posted by: S Location: Robinson on Sep 7, 2008 at 08:02 PM
They all belong on death row or better yet, forget a trial and stab them to death.

What a bunch of low life's. A 75 year old man? That mother should be put behind bars just for getting her daughter in on something so horrific as that. If you needed some money that bad, go get a job.
