Central Texas Man Charged In Auto-Pedestrian Accident
A Central Texas man has been charged in an accident that left a pedestrian with a broken neck, a broken leg and other serious injuries.

(September 18, 2008)—Adam Ray Mitchell, 21, of Killeen, has been charged with failure to stop and render aid in connection with an accident on Sunday on South Fort Hood Street that left a pedestrian unconscious and lying in a ditch.

Bond was set at $100,000.

The victim, whom police identified as Carlos Gonzalez, suffered a broken neck, a broken leg and other serious injuries.

He was taken to Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

According to the affidavit filed in support of the arrest warrant, Mitchell told a Killeen police officer he struck something while driving on South Ford Hood Street and that he drove off.

According to the affidavit, investigators found blood and tissue on Mitchell’s vehicle.

It's a sad situation now days, when people could care less about another person, than this!!!! Nobody elses life means a thing!!! The 'Golden Rule has been totally forgotten!!!!!!! Put the driver out in the Street, and run over him,,, then don't stop!!!!! An Eye-For-An-Eye Sorry!!
