Central Texas Teenager Shot In Mouth After Traffic Accident

(September 19, 2008)—Waco police were looking for suspects Friday after someone opened fire from inside a vehicle after a traffic accident and shot a Central Texas teenager in the mouth.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of Colcord.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle accident in the area, but when they arrived, they encountered a crowd of as many as 100 people who were “screaming and yelling at each other,” police said Friday.

Witnesses told officers that the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the accident sped off after the accident.

The vehicle returned a short time later, police said, and someone inside fired four to six shots in the direction of the other vehicle involved in the crash.

One of the shots struck the teenager, who had walked after the crash and was standing at the side of the road, police said.

The victim, whose name wasn’t immediately available, was taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in stable condition, police said Friday.

Police are looking for a black Saturn that should have damage to the right passenger side.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the Waco Police Department at (254) 750-7500 or Crime Stoppers at (254) 753-HELP.

Whites are quick to date are black man and woman. Whites are quick to try and act as if they are black. Whites are quick to go get a sun tan to get darker. But as soon as a hate crime happen are anything to that nature they are quick to judge blacks as if they(whites) dont have thugs in there race when they do. I belive the white man is the one thats bringing the drugs over into our country.Every race has some thugs, gangsters, and drug dealers not just blacks. Regardless of race, this attitude displayed by these individuals is ridiculous. I do agree that public money should be used to propogate this type of lifestyle and yes I think the government facilitates the lifestyle. The full extent of the law needs to be given to all persons taht live with this attitude. Stop making it easier for people of this nature to thrive. All races have people with this attitude. Its not just white, black, brown or yellow. Oh BET does not represent bladk people. They portray the stereotype of black people to the whole nation. Yes. I am black and BET is the most ridiculous network on television. Thier motto should be "shufflin shufflin shufflin". Ridiculous. You cant polish a turd (BET).

to anonymous: evidently the "christians" were not in the car that shot the teen. after all we are seeing (everyday) how so many people want the name of "God" taken out of everything because "How dare we offend an atheist by trying to spread the gospel". I'll pray for the injured teen and for those who shot the teen to find God and ask for forgiveness before its too late.
