(October 3, 2008)—An updated exhibit showcasing items buried in the Egyptian tomb of King Tut is back in the United States, opening Friday in Texas for an eight-month run.

"Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs" will be at the Dallas Museum of Art through May 17th.

Individual tickets for the exhibit are available online or over the phone. Prices range between $16.50 for children (ages 6–17) and $32.50 for adults with discounts for students and seniors.

Weekend (Friday–Sunday) and holiday ticket prices are higher than weekday ticket prices (Monday–Thursday).

Additionally, tickets for the accompanying movie, "Secrets of The Mummies Egypt 3-D" can be purchased. The movie shows on the hour, 10am to 4pm, Tues-Sun (22 min). Seating is first come, first served.

About four million people visited the exhibit as it toured four U.S. cities from 2005 to 2007.

At the end of August, the exhibit wrapped up a run in London that brought in about one million visitors.

Treasures from King Tut arrived in the U.S. in the late 1970s with a seven-city tour that attracted almost eight million visitors.
