The National Weather Service has issued a RED FLAG WARNING in effect until 6 pm for Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Freestone, Hamilton, Hill, Lampasas, Leon, Limestone, McLennan, Milam, Mills, Navarro, Robertson, and Williamson counties in Central Texas. The combination of strong south winds, low relative humidity, and dry vegetation will create an extreme danger for grass fires across Central Texas this afternoon.

Car Driven By Teenager Nearly Smashes Into House Save Email Print

(October 5, 2008) - A 1980's model Ford Crown Victoria nearly ended up in a Waco home Sunday night, and would have if the concrete porch hadn’t stopped the car.

Police were dispatched to the incident at about 7 p.m. at 1314 Tabor Street.

Police said the car somehow ran into the front porch of the home before stopping.

Three teenagers were in the car at the time of the accident, a 15-year-old and two 17-year-olds.

One of the teenagers was taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center with what police said were non-life-threatening injuries.

No damage was done to the home.

Let me guess, uh, young drug dealers in that area, yea i'm probably right, and driving some old ragged hooptie that was probably in such bad shape they couldn't control it and had no other way to stop the car but run into someones porch. Too Funny, and like the woman said on the news the good thing is that the kids were not outside at that time
