(October 6, 2008) - A Killeen woman has reported to police that she has been getting strange phone calls from a man after posting a babysitting ad on Craigslist.com.
The woman who wished to remain anonymous said she mistakenly put her full name, a picture and a phone number on the Web site.
Afterward, a man calling himself "Bill" called her several times asking questions such as whether she pulls down her kids pants when she spanks them and claiming he beats his own children with extension cords and phone cords.
Several other women have posted similar stories about calls from the same phone number.
Some of them also claimed the man asked sexually oriented questions about the women's appearance.
The man reportedly claims to live in Killeen but wouldn't give any more information out.
Police warn about putting personal information on the Web and are asking other area residents to let them know if they’ve received similar calls.

Cee you don't make any sense. Why are you bashing her anyways? You don't think she has enough problems from the weirdo calling her because of a bad decision? No? She needs you to sit there and say pointless crud to learn her lesson?? Seriously, find something important to take a stand on not some 2 bit article about a prank call.
LOL. Stupid move. :]
I agree with one of the other entries stating that this could just be a prank phone call that got way out of hand. Yes, I agree there are some crazy people in the world today, but what if it was someone who was just being stupid and wanted to get a rise out of her. It was first of all dumb on her part to have put in her name, phone # and picture on an ad on craigslist. Haven't you ever heard of pedophiles? If you are wanting to make some extra cash, go put up ads at local community colleges, churches, etc. There are a number of places to place ads other than on craigslist. That had to have been one of the unsafest decisions a person can make. That is where people sale things and make extra money from things they are getting rid of. Not to put a babysitting ad in. This girl was not using her head when she did this and now are police system are having to waist time looking into this when there are children getting abused and other crimes happening all around our state.
