Police Investigating Fourth Robbery In 2 Days
Temple police are looking for a man who robbed a local convenience store early Saturday morning.

(October 18, 2008) - Temple police are looking for leads in a possible armed robbery early Saturday morning.

Police were called to a reported theft at the 7-11 Convenience Store, 2219 S. 57th St.at about 1:15 a.m. Saturday.

When police arrived, officers learned it could have been a robbery.

Witnesses say a white male entered the store, claimed to have a weapon and demanded money.

The suspect then left with an unknown amount of cash in a 1986 cream Nissan.

Police were able to get a license plate number and found the vehicle in the 600 block of S. 16th St., but were unable to catch the suspect.

He is described as 5'8" tall, medium build, and about 40-45 years old.

This is the 4th robbery in Temple in the last two days.
