(October 24, 2008)—Waco police said Friday they’ve recovered more than $50,000 in property stolen in local home, car and business burglaries.
Officers assigned to the Waco Police Department’s property crimes unit recovered the property at several locations in the city while investigating the burglaries, police said Friday.
The recovered property includes tools, car stereos, heaters, air conditioners, and household appliances.
Officers used large moving van to haul off the property from several of the locations, police said.
Officers have made arrests, police said, but information about those in custody and the locations where the property was recovered was not released because the investigation is ongoing.
