Central Texas Man Goes On Trial For Girlfriend’s Murder

(October 27, 2008)—Jury selection was set to Monday in district court in Waco in the murder trial of Frank Sustaita, who’s charged in the 2007 shooting of his 19-year-old girlfriend.

Jennifer Sustaita was shot in the head on June 2, 2007 at a residence in the 1700 block of Bosque Boulevard.

She died 11 days later at Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

The two shared a last name, but were not related.

Sustaita was originally charged with attempted murder, but the charge was upgraded after the death.

He was 17 at the time of the shooting.
