(November 5, 2008) - Racial tension among Baylor University students lead to verbal altercations on the campus once the Presidential election ended Tuesday night.

University police monitored the situation as more than 100 students gathered just before midnight on 5th street near the Student Union Building.

Some students claim someone hung a noose on campus and burned Obama political signs earlier in the day.

Police say the confrontations did not escalate to physical fights.

i find it funny the white people who are against obama and pro white and for mccain are doin the gangsta hand shake and bumpin chest instead of doin a simple hand shake where ya simply grip the other mans hand and shake up and down... if your goin to be against somethin then dont do things they do... just a thought

I agree with those who say racial tensions will get a lot worse. They will get a lot worse in the places where people have hatred in their hearts, like Texas and Louisiana. In the rest of America, racial tensions will improve.

Jennifer, it's people like me, huh? Take a guess what race I am. I'll bet you're wrong. You probably assume, based on my comments, that I'm white, right? Who's judging who here? On one hand you are right, Jennifer...It's not just blacks. It's whites and other races that want to keep the propanda going.
