(November 13, 2008)--Bryan police are investigating an infant's death at an in-home childcare center on Tiffany Park Circle in Bryan.

Police said someone from inside the home called 911 at 2:06 p.m. Thursday and said a four-month-old boy was not breathing.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene, and police say responders instructed the caller on how to perform CPR.

The infant, who was from Bryan, was taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said they do not suspect foul play.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

The home is a registered in-home childcare center, according to the state.

Officials with the state's Child Care Licensing Division say the day care has been registered since at least 1998.

Lord, give him wings and when the wind blows close to his mother and father, they will know he is near. My prayers to the family.
