Anti-Obama Signs Have Some Residents Upset
Some residents of a Central Texas town including members of the town’s city council aren’t happy about anti-Obama signs that appear in the windows of an old bank building, but officials say there’s not much they can do about them.

(November 18, 2008)—Some McGregor residents including members of the city council want anti-Obama political ads on display of the windows of a downtown building taken down, but officials admit there’s not much they can do about them.

The owner of the old First National Bank at 222 S. Main St., Mark Woodward, started posting the political ads in the windows of the building before the presidential election.

Some of the posters show the president-elect with a bloody nose and call him a dope.

Others compare the former senator to late Marxist revolutionary leader Che Guevara.

At least six residents spoke out against the signs in a public forum during a City Council meeting, saying the posters cast McGregor in a bad light because visitors who are traveling through the town can see the building from Highway 317.

City Council members agreed with those residents, but said they can’t force Woodward to take the signs down because he’s simply exercising his constitutional right of expression.

Woodward told News Ten the posters are all for fun and said he plans to put up different signs throughout the next four years while Obama is in office.

Anony, *lol* I needed a good laugh. Thank you for entertaining me. At the end of the day I can lay my head on my pillow knowing that the person I voted for is the President of my country but even more important to this I am blessed to know that whether or not he had won I would not be spewing YOUR vile rhetoric. Why don't you DO you and I will DO me. P.s. There are other places a lot hotter than the kitchen that you need to get acclimated to *LOL*

Like I said Rosie O, God isn't smiling on you or your messiah. Liberals can never keep their mouths shut. It's not in their genes. Your brilliant wisdom and personal integrity leaves much to be desired. You're a hypocrite, but just can't admit it. Your messiah, who is trying to run a Lincoln and FDR administration needs to come back to the 21st century. Throwing billions at road and bridge construction won't keep people employed like in 1939. **rolls eyes** If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen! In other words.... ZIP IT

Anony, whether or not GOD is smiling down giving me or Obama a nod of approval is I'm sure way beyond your understanding. In the interim why don't you stick to the topic at hand. In regards to my stance on abortion. I don't believe I ever made known my stance. I don't support abortion but I also believe that this is a moral decision that is between the woman and GOD not something that you or I or government should be judging or legalizing. While I might not agree with ALL of Obama's policies I still feel that he is better for America than all the other candidates, and that my friend is why I voted this way. Enough of the personal attacks. Whether or not I choose to quote biblical text is my right. Who are YOU to tell me any different? Anony i'm sure that you in all of your wisdom and personal integrity would never have given GOD a reason to frown upon you. Kudos to you.*rolls eyes*
