(November 20, 2008)—An autopsy shows that Brandon Rosales, 23, of Bryan, who was the focus of a search after he disappeared over the weekend, was shot twice in the head and that his body was partially burned.

A Texas EquuSearch team found Rosales’ body on Tuesday near where his burned-out SUV was discovered over the weekend.

Rosales was last seen early Saturday at an apartment complex after leaving a party at which he was threatened.

Family members thought he was headed home after the party, but instead went to the apartment complex.

Investigators are trying to determine what happened after that.

My Dearest Family Some things I'd like to say but first of all to let you know that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from Heaven where I dwell with God above where there's no more tears or sadness there is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you when my life on Earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and He said I welcome you!

How can people get on here and assume he was in a gang or involved in drugs? Not all young hispanics are. I think comments like that are so disrespectful to the deceased's family.

Brandon wasn't in a gang. He was a goog guy who didn't deserve this! I hope they find the people who did it fast and justice gets served. RIP BRANDON

Dang that is a shame he is really a nice goodlooking man. Its a shame people have to act that way. He was probably minding his own business and some fool got into his face. God Bless the families.
