Water Service Shut Down Saturday In Part Of Local City
Water service will be cut off Saturday night through early Sunday morning for part of one Central Texas City to allow crews to replace damaged fire hydrants.

(November 21, 2008)—Water service will be cut off starting at 9 p.m. Saturday until early Sunday morning for the area of Hallmark Avenue to Central Texas Expressway and Highway 195 to Houston Street in Killeen.

Crews need to turn off the water in order to replace two damaged fire hydrants in the area, the city said.

Residents who live in the affected area are advised to store drinking water in preparation for the cutoff.
