(November 25, 2008)—The Amber Alert that was issued Monday for three Michigan girls who were missing after their mother was found dead was cancelled Tuesday after the girls were located.
Police said Victoria Olguin, 3, Lilliana Olguin, 5, and Elena Olguin, 9, were taken by a man believed to be their estranged father, who they thought could be headed to Texas or Mexico.
The alert was issued Monday night after police in Saginaw, Mich. discovered Erica Olguin's body inside of her home after she failed to pick up her 11-year-old son at school.
Police identified the father as Jose Angel Olguin, 35, and said he was driving a yellow Buick Skylark with Michigan license plates and duct tape on the passenger's side mirror.
The children and the man were found Tuesday in Shiawassee County. Mich.
