(December 3, 2008)--The mother of a North Texas man who was dragged to death said an autopsy showed his body was so badly mangled that it couldn't be embalmed.

Jacqueline McClelland told Dallas-Fort Worth television station WFAA that she saw a copy of the report of the autopsy performed on the body of her son, Brandon McClelland.

McClelland indicated the report said that her son's skull was severely fractured and one of his legs was almost ripped off.

Authorities say two other men, both of them white, ran over and killed the 24-year-old black man, after an argument on the way home from a late-night beer run in September.

The family has met with a special prosecutor and the case is expected to go to a grand jury next week.

This is so appalling!! There truly no words to describe how horrific this really is. I have four boys myself and I just can't imagine. Bless this family and may her son rest in peace.
