Fort Hood Captain Loses Month-Long Fight For Life
A Fort Hood captain injured in the explosion of a roadside bomb in Afghanistan has died at a military medical center, a month after he was wounded.

(December 3, 2008)—Fort Hood Capt. Robert J. Yllescas, 31, of Lincoln, Neb., died Monday at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., of wounds he received in the explosion of a homemade bomb on Oct. 28 at Combat Outpost Keating in Afghanistan, the military said Wednesday.

Yllescas was assigned to the 1st Infantry Division’s 6th Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team.

May your Memories with him and of him help to comfort you along with God's care. There just is no word's to take away the loss you feel, for that I am sorry...
