(December 10, 2008)— Waco police continue to ask for the public’s assistance Wednesday as the search continues for a 42-year-old man that went missing from a group home over the weekend.

Mark Leland Kirks has been missing since Saturday from the home at 2820 N. 43rd St., police said.

He was wearing a gray and black hooded jacket, warm up pants and tennis shoes when he was last seen around 3 p.m. Saturday.

Kirks is 5-foot-10, weighs 160 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes, police said.

“Mr. Kirk has not had his medication since his disappearance and may be very disoriented," police said Tuesday.

“He does not have a history of violence but may be lost and not able to find his way home. “

Officials are asking anyone with information about Kirk’s whereabouts to call the Waco Police Department’s Special Crimes Unit at (254) 750-7500.

Was today the first mention of this? I would think it should have been publicized Saturday! Praying for the safe return of Mr. Kirks!
