(August 20, 2006)--A new computer game based on the apocalyptic "Left Behind" novels could soon be shipped to your church.
The Washington Post reports that a million free copies of "Left Behind: Eternal Forces" will be sent to churches nationwide in October.
The game is set in New York City after the world's Christians have disappeared in the Rapture.
The player, who's been left behind, must either convert or kill unbelievers.
Miami attorney Jack Thompson told the Washington Post that as a Christian, he's dismayed that "the game is about killing people for their lack of faith in Jesus."
He also worries that radical Muslims will see it as evidence that Christians are mounting a modern-day crusade.
