(December 29, 2008)--The U.S. Coast Guard Monday suspended its search for a Florida woman who evidently fell from a cruise ship balcony off the coast of Mexico.

Passenger Jennifer Seitz was reported missing by her husband from the Norwegian Pearl the day after Christmas.

Authorities said a ship surveillance camera showed someone falling overboard at 8 p.m. Christmas night off the coast of Cancun.

The Coast Guard and Mexican navy searched for the woman over the weekend before calling the search off Monday afternoon.

FBI spokesman Mike Leverock said agents met the ship as it arrived in Miami on Sunday, collected materials and "are still trying to determine if a crime occurred."

There is so much missing from this story! Is this just a tease to make us turn on the FOX channel and get a complete story? You left out the following: The man had previously been arrested for hitting his wife, but she hadn't pressed charges. The woman disappeared around 8pm and the husband didn't report it until around 4-5am. He thought she just wanted some time alone!) Shortly after he reported her missing, he went into a casino with a bag of quarters and told people he wanted "to change his luck". Speculation is either the woman jumped to commit suicide, or her jerk of a husband had something to do with her "falling" off the ship.
