(January 02, 2009)—In an effort to encourage responsible celebration during the New Year's holiday, the Bell County Attorney's Office and law enforcement agencies implemented a no-refusal policy for suspected drunken drivers.

Eleven arrests were made over the holiday; six of those arrested refused the breathalyzer test.

During the holiday, law enforcement officers obtained warrants to draw blood from anyone refusing to take a breath test after an arrest for intoxication or alcoholic beverage offenses.

Yep. Lots of D.A. comments for sure. Like the idiot who made a comparison to Nazi Germany. And American in Texas....I have NO idea what they were saying. D.J. Towns ARE enacting laws to make it illegal to use cell phones while driving. I still havent seen anyone come up with a good solution for stopping people from driving under the influence.

To me groesbeck location: Ok, suspend/revoke my driving privilege, fine me and throw me in jail, but I must fight for my blood. Just as my forefathers did for their blood! Sure, I will loose,(given the odds), but I must fight in what I believe. Just as those who fought before me! I don't drink or do drugs. Why be concern then, you have targeted my rights!

Let's pull over motorist and strip search the entire car and people in it. Then go to their homes and search it as well. We must do this for the good of all people. Never know what they are hiding! Say, we can outlaw driving late at nights this way officers don't have to stop cars because there won't be any. If they are not working then they should not be driving and also wasting fuel. Look how many people it would save and the officers want have to work as hard and want fill up our hospitals, pollute the air, etc. People should only work, how dare they think they are entitle for enjoyment or a pursuit of happiness on their own. Working is only needed in life. There are so many good ideals to stop the lost and waste. Hell yea, we need to scrap rights all together, after all, living is not a right but a privilege! You can make a case for any thing my friends. How much one gives up might not be enough for the other. Can't believe some one has a right to say that, eat that or do that.
