Driver Shot In Confrontation On Texas Highway
A 21-year-old driver who was shot in an early-morning confrontation with occupants of another vehicle on a Texas highway was in critical condition Sunday.

(January 11, 2009)—A 21-year-old driver who was shot at least once in a confrontation early Sunday with occupants of another vehicle, was in critical condition Sunday afternoon in a Dallas hospital.

After the shooting, the wounded driver crashed his van into a center barrier on U.S. Highway 80 in Mesquite.

Two passengers in the van received minor injuries in the crash.

Police said a preliminary investigation shows that the occupants of the van were involved in a confrontation with the occupants of a sedan on Interstate 30.

Police said that as both vehicles traveled toward the I-30 interchange with U.S. Highway 80, shots were fired from the suspect vehicle.

Police are asking anyone who may have information or witnessed the shooting to contact them.

The victim should have had a Right-To-Carry-Permit, and a loaded gun. Then he could have shot back!!!!!!!!!!
