Texas Soldier Dies In Iraq
A 20-year-old Army private from Texas has died in Iraq in what the military described Tuesday as a non-combat related incident.

(January 13, 2009)--Pvt. Sean P. McCune, 20, of Euless Sunday in Samarra, Iraq, of injuries suffered in a non-combat related incident, the military said Tuesday.

Further details were not immediately released.

The Defense Department said the circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.

McCune was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, from Schofield Barracks in Hawaii.
