Print

CLIFTON (January 19, 2009)--Former Baylor and China Spring quarterback Shawn Bell is the new head football at Clifton High School. The town's school board made the move official at tonight's meeting.

Bell is no stranger to Clifton. He went to school at the school as a kid when his dad, Mark Bell, was the football coach at the school.

Bell spent the 2008 football season calling plays for the state ranked China Spring football team. In 2007, Bell was an assistant at Round Rock Stoney Point High School.

As a player, Bell was a record setting quarterback at both China Spring High School and Baylor.
