GARLAND (February 27, 2009)--Here are the latest updates from Adam Winkler who is at the Midway girls game with Dallas Lincoln. The winner of this one will advance to the regional final.

7:23 - Midway wins 78-44. They'll play in the regional final tomorrow at 2:00 pm at the Garland Events Center. Make sure you watch KWTX news at 10 pm tonight for highlights and post game reaction from Midway's impressive win.

7:12 PM - It's officially a blowout in Garland. Midway leads 74-37. Gross has 28 points and Reed has 24.

7:06 PM - There is less than six minutes to play in this one. Midway leads 64-37. Baylor signee Kimetria Hayden has 11 points for Lincoln.

7:03 PM - Midway leads 60-35 at the end of the third quarter. Cokie Reed is having a big game. She already has 20 points.

6:57 PM - Midway looks to be in pretty good shape. They lead 58-35 with less than two minutes to play in the third. Gross leads all scorers with 22 points.

6:43 PM - Midway leads 45-23, two minutes into the third quarter.

6:31 PM - Midway came to play tonight! They lead 44-21 at the half. Gross leads the way with 20 points so far. Lincoln's Kimetria Hayden has just 4 points. Hayden signed with the Lady Bears in November.

6:16 PM - Midway is up 27-13 at the end of the first quarter.

6:10 PM - Midway leads 23-8 with 2:44 left in the first quarter. Gross can't miss. She has 14 points already.

6:06 PM - Midway now up 16-4. DeLisa Gross has 11 points already. Lincoln has used two timeouts.

6:02 PM - Hot start for Midway. They're up 10-0 two minutes into the game.

5:55 PM - This one is about to tip off at the Garland Special Events enter. Midway is looking for a little bit of revenge. Dallas Lincoln is the team that kept them out of the state tournament last year.
