WACO (March 2, 2009)—Star La Vega High School running back Christopher Dantae Parr, 17, was arrested for the fourth time in six months Monday, this time on a retaliation charge.
Parr was in the McLennan County Jail Monday evening in lieu of $50,000 bond.
At the time of his arrest, he was free on $25,000 bond after he was charged with injury to a child in an attack on a 14-year-old boy.
The new compliant stems from a threat that was made toward a teenager who did an interview with News 10 about the attack on the 14-year-old, who, according to an arrest warrant affidavit, was assaulted last month at Parr’s home at 1127 Clover.
The 14-year-old suffered a contusion and a small laceration above his right eye and rib contusions in the assault, the affidavit said.
He was kicked while he was on the ground, the affidavit said.
Police arrested Parr in mid-January at La Vega High School without incident in connection with the break-in at an apartment at 800 Rambler in Waco in which shoes, jewelry, electronics and a pistol were taken.
Parr was charged last year in connection with the armed hold-up of Lonnie Sawyer, 19, who told police he was robbed around 10:40 p.m. on Aug. 23 in the 5200 block of Concord Road in Bellmead.
In November the McLennan County District Attorney's Office said the criminal complaint against Parr was dropped after the teenager passed a polygraph test.
Parr did not play during the regular season, but did take the field in four playoff games including La Vega's state title game loss to Prosper.

Ok, so I love how his race is being involved in this..GET OVER IT! IT has NOTHING to do with his skin color, it has ALL to do with his actions. People who know him have posted how they are disappointed and regret defending him the last time. Does that tell anyone anything? Faith for this dude is lost..I have none. Lock him up. He wants to act hard and be gangster, he has NO clue what is behind those steel bars. Oh, and "oldschool"..you need some knowledge..don't post a comment if you can't spell! It took me like five minutes to figure out what you were trying to say..lol..loser...
Why on earth is the media and different people calling this 4 time criminal a star? What a great image the media is providing for children...Is KWTX still going to call him a star when he rapes a little child or beats an elderly person to death for $10? We have watched KWTX for years, but no longer...We choose not to have our grandchildren think if you rob, steal , beat someone you can be a star...SHAME ON YOU ALL
