TECUMSEH, Okla. (March 5, 2009)--Police in the central Oklahoma town of Tecumseh have received numerous tips since a segment on "America's Most Wanted" about a missing teenage girl.

Police Detective J.R. Kidney says the tips started to roll after the broadcast Saturday about 14-year-old Deborah Kalai Fourzan and 40-year-old James Reimer, the man authorities believe she's with.

Police say many of the sightings were in the Austin area.

Investigators followed clues that led them to apartments and stores, but nothing's panned out so far.

Deborah and Reimer shared an interest in the Japanese style of animation called anime.

Her friends told authorities she planned to travel to an anime convention, and that one convention was held in Austin the weekend after her Feb. 2 disappearance.

Pottawatomie County prosecutors have charged Reimer with soliciting sexual conduct or communications with a minor through telephone text messaging.

Investigators say the charge stems from sexually explicit messages sent to the girl's cell phone.

While neutering doesn't sound like a bad idea- sexual perverts are often after the power they feel and the humiliation that they bring as much if not more than the sexual aspect of their behavior.

...I think we need to have more programs in school that will educate young boys and girls about predators. When I say young, I mean jr high and even high school. Why does it seem like "Stranger Danger" is only taught in elementary?? Parents need to get involved and protect thier kids. Teaching them about these kind of "people" would do a world of good, I think.

I think that neutering Mr. James Reimer would kinda solve his problem of preying on children.
