WACO (March 25, 2009)--Aaron John Anderson, 19, of Hewitt was arrested and charged with burglary of a motor vehicle Wednesday, thanks to an unidentified resident who witnesses a vehicle break in and then followed the thief until he could get a license plate number and report it to police.

The resident told police he saw a man break into the vehicle in the 700 block of North 57th Street in Waco and then remove several items.

The man then ran to his truck and drove off, with the resident trailing him.

McLennan County sheriff’s deputies later arrested Anderson in the Hewitt area and recovered the stolen items.

Several other vehicle burglaries were reported in the area, but it’s not clear if they were related, police said.

honestly this is not the first time he has been caught doing this. this child doesnt know how to act. everything is a joke to him. hes already in trouble for organized crime. what more does it take to send him to jail? obviously nothing is getting through to him. he continues to make bad decesions. i would say still time to turn your life around but its not

We are not called to judge but to love. God will judge. He will also judge those that judge others. Are you sinless? Be careful throwing that rock - it could break your window! We do love you Aaron and will be praying for you and your family. You are still young and have so much to give.

It's easy for u to judge. If it was someone close to u it would be different, but it's not. Jail isn't the answer here. Make him give back to the community. Instead of sticking him a place with people that have been criminals all there life. Have faith. Is jail going to make him better? Is it going to make him necome a better citizen? Is it going to help his future? He needs to be punished!! But jail/prison will scar him and his chance to succeed for life.
