ROUND ROCK (April 1, 2009)—The disappearance of John David Blattner, 39, of Round Rock, who was reported after he failed to show up for work Sunday, was the focus of a police investigation Wednesday.

Members of Blattner’s family told police they last saw the missing man at around 10:30 p.m. Saturday at his home in Round Rock.

His vehicle hasn’t been driven since it was parked over the weekend, police said.

Blattner is 6-feet tall and weighs 200 pounds, police said.

He has red hair and brown eyes.

When he was last seen, he was wearing a dark-colored ball cap, a white Sherwin-Williams jacket and gray sweatpants with paint stains, police said.

Investigators are asking anyone information about his whereabouts to call the Round Rock Police Information Hotline at (512) 218-6677.
