Waco-Area Woman Dies Of Injuries From Car Accident
A Waco-area woman who was badly injured when an SUV struck the driver’s side of her passenger car later died at a local hospital, police said Wednesday.

WACO (April 22, 2009)—Jolie Gant, 39, of China Spring, who was badly injured when an SUV struck the side of her Ford Taurus Tuesday evening on China Spring Road, later died at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, police said Wednesday.
The accident happened just after 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
Gant stopped at a stop sign in the 12000 block of Old China Spring Road and then pulled onto the China Spring Highway and into the path of an oncoming Lincoln Navigator driven by Jacqueline Chester, 33, of Lorena, police said.
The Navigator slammed into the driver-side door of the car, police said.
Gant and her son, who was a passenger, were taken to Hillcrest.
Gant later died.
Information about the son’s condition was not immediately available.

For one thing the lady that had hit her was speeding and was tailgating another driver before she hit Jolie.If it hadn't been for her speeding 2 boys would have their mother right now. Accidents do happen but this driver was careless.All that can be done now is pray and be there for the boys.

China Spring Highway is a mess. Incredibly rude people whip back and forth at ridiculously excessive speeds. No one slows down when the driver ahead needs to make a left-hand turn. NOOO! People just have to drive on the shoulder. And heaven help you if you need to make a right-hand turn and don't get on the shoulder to do it. You'll get run off the road by these discourteous, self-absorbed clowns. SLOW DOWN, people. You are no better than anyone else and your life certainly isn't worth more.
