Midway ISD Cancels Some Field Trips, Reschedules Others

WACO (May 1, 2009)--The Midway ISD said Friday it is canceling some out-of-county field trips and rescheduling some others, but says all student travel within McLennan County will proceed as planned.
An elementary school trip to Camp Allen in Navasota that was scheduled for Monday and a middle school art trip to Scarborough Fair in Waxahachie have been canceled, the district said.
The district plans to reschedule a middle school band trip to Dallas that was to have been next Wednesday, a middle school orchestra trip to Denton that was to have been next Thursday, a high school choir trip to Corpus Christi that was to have bee next Friday and a middle school pre-AP science physics day trip to Six Flags that was to have been next Friday.
